How to Integrate Forms with ConvesioPay in WordPress

Take credit card payments directly from your forms

Connect ConvesioPay to your forms in WordPress to accept credit card payments. You can charge a fixed amount or use WS Form e-commerce fields for more advanced cart options.

Card details are sent to ConvesioPay client-side and securely tokenized before the form is submitted. If the payment succeeds, the rest of the actions configured on the form run. If it does not, an error is shown on the form.

WS Form includes Basic and Advanced ConvesioPay form templates to help you get started. You can also add the ConvesioPay and ConvesioPay Submit fields to your form and place them anywhere you like.

  • Serve the payment page over HTTPS.
  • Use test or live API keys to match your ConvesioPay environment.
  • Configure the webhook to receive transaction status updates such as Pending and Succeeded.
  • Fixed or calculated charges

Charge a fixed amount or use WS Form e-commerce fields to calculate the amount.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I integrate WordPress with ConvesioPay using WS Form?

Add the ConvesioPay integration to your form, enter your ConvesioPay API keys in WS Form settings, and configure the webhook in your ConvesioPay dashboard. You can start with the Basic or Advanced ConvesioPay template. More help is available here: ConvesioPay Add-On.

What can I charge with ConvesioPay in WS Form?

You can charge a fixed amount using the button in isolation, or use WS Form e-commerce fields to produce more advanced cart options.

How does the ConvesioPay payment flow work?

The customer enters credit card details on the form. Those details are sent to ConvesioPay client-side and securely tokenized. If tokenization succeeds, the form is submitted and a payment is created server-side using the token.

What happens after a successful or failed payment?

If the card payment is successful, the rest of the actions configured on the form are run. If the card payment is not successful, an error is shown on the form.

Do I need HTTPS for a ConvesioPay form?

Yes. The page containing the payment form must be served over HTTPS.

Why should I configure the webhook?

The webhook lets ConvesioPay update transaction information such as status changes. Status updates will not occur unless the webhook is configured.

What transaction statuses are used?

New payments have a transaction status of Pending. When the payment clears, the transaction status updates to Succeeded.
