How to Integrate Forms with LeadConnector in WordPress

Create LeadConnector records from your forms faster

Connect forms in WordPress to LeadConnector and push new submissions to LeadConnector objects using WS Form actions. You can also generate a form from your LeadConnector objects in a single click.

WS Form can create forms for your working LeadConnector objects and fully configure them so they are ready to use immediately. Common objects such as Contacts, Companies, and Opportunities are supported, and custom objects can be selected on the settings page.

You can also add a LeadConnector action to any WS Form form and choose whether it runs when the form is saved, submitted, or both. The premium integration supports field mapping, custom mapping, duplicate handling, tags for Contact objects, and relationships between records.

Do not use this premium integration with the LeadConnector external-tracking.js script, as it can create duplicate record errors. You can use WS Form tracking features to map tracking data to LeadConnector instead.

How do I integrate WordPress with LeadConnector using WS Form?

Connect WS Form to LeadConnector in the LeadConnector settings tab, then either create a form from a LeadConnector object or add an “Add to LeadConnector” action to an existing form. For full setup guidance, visit the LeadConnector guide.

Can WS Form create LeadConnector forms automatically?

Yes. WS Form can create a form for any of your working LeadConnector objects in a single click and configure it so the form is ready to use immediately.

Which LeadConnector objects can I work with?

You choose the objects you want to work with on the settings page. Common objects such as Contacts, Companies, and Opportunities are selected by default, and custom objects are also included.

Can I update an existing LeadConnector record instead of creating a new one?

Yes. In the LeadConnector action, leave Object ID blank to create a new record, or enter an object ID to update a particular record.

Does the LeadConnector integration support duplicate handling?

Yes. For Contact, Opportunity, and custom objects, you can choose a field to detect duplicates by. If a duplicate is found, you can update the record or ignore it.

Can I map form fields to LeadConnector fields?

Yes. The add-on includes field mapping so you can match your WS Form fields to the corresponding LeadConnector fields. It also supports custom mapping with values or WS Form variables.

Can I create related records in LeadConnector from one form?

Yes. When a company, contact, opportunity, or custom object is created, you can create relationships to associate one object with another. The add-on also provides variables for created record IDs that can be used in subsequent LeadConnector actions.

Are there any LeadConnector limitations or conflicts to know about?

Yes. The LeadConnector API V2 does not currently support custom field population for Company records, Signature custom fields, or Textbox List custom fields. Also, do not use this add-on with the LeadConnector external-tracking.js script because it can result in duplicate record errors.
