Akismet gives WordPress the ability to check comments and form submissions against its global spam database. WS Form integrates with Akismet so you can check form submissions for spam content.
Submissions checked with Akismet are graded for spam in the WS Form submissions page. A colored circle shows the result: red for blatant spam, orange for possible spam, and green for submissions not considered spam.
You can choose an email field and select text-based fields for Akismet to analyze. WS Form also lets you decide how to handle suspect submissions, including using a spam threshold or rejecting suspect or blatant spam.
