Google Maps

Add interactive Google Maps to your forms and store latitude and longitude in each submission.

How to Add Google Maps to Forms in WordPress

Capture map locations directly in your forms

Add one or more interactive Google Maps to your forms in WordPress with the Google Map field. When someone clicks the map, the selected latitude and longitude are stored in the submission.

You can set a default latitude, longitude, zoom level, and map type. Available map types are Road Map, Satellite, Hybrid, and Terrain.

The field can also auto-center to the user’s location using browser geolocation, IP geolocation, or both. You can optionally use a text field as an address search field to find a location on the map.

To use the Google Map field, you need a Google Cloud Project with billing enabled, the Maps JavaScript API, Places API (New), and Geocoding API enabled, plus an API key entered in WS Form settings.

  • It does an awesome job with a lot of features, from simple contact forms up to really complex forms for post management and user management. The support is awesome.
