How to Integrate Forms with WPML in WordPress

Build multilingual forms that display in the active language

WS Form integrates directly with WPML so you can translate form content in WordPress using WPML string translation. When enabled, WS Form can automatically register translatable form strings for each form.

You can translate form settings, tab labels, section labels, field labels, placeholders, help text, default values, action settings, and ARIA accessibility strings. WS Form also installs a WPML translation package for each form to help manage translations.

Data grids used by Select, Checkbox, and Radio fields can also be translated. Translation uses the Label column mapping, and data grids without a data source can be registered as translatable strings.

No. Only data grids that do not have a data source can be translated. Dynamic data grids cannot generate persistent translatable strings.

Why is a translatable string not appearing in WPML?

WPML only registers settings that contain a value. If a setting is blank, it will not appear as a translatable string. Enter a value, save the form, and check WPML again.

Why are form changes not showing in the WPML Advanced Translation Editor?

Open the translation in the Advanced Translation Editor, click Save and Complete, and reopen the translation. This usually refreshes the translation data and shows the latest form changes.
