If you encounter this error when submitting a form that uses the Salesforce integration, it usually means the connection to Salesforce is no longer valid and needs to be re-established.
This can happen for a few reasons, such as when the connected Salesforce user has:
- Changed their password
- Had their password expire
- Been deleted, frozen, or deactivated
- Been affected by Salesforce login or security policies
In some cases, the issue may also be caused by a temporary network error on your hosting provider that prevents the OAuth token from refreshing properly.
You can also check the Salesforce Status Page to determine if there are any issues with the Salesforce API.
Recommended Salesforce User Configuration
For the most reliable operation, we recommend creating a dedicated Salesforce user account exclusively for the WS Form integration. Avoid using a personal user account that is also used for day-to-day administration.
We recommend the following configuration:
- Use a dedicated Salesforce user for WS Form.
- Configure the user’s password so that it does not expire, if permitted by your organization’s security policy.
- Avoid changing the integration user’s password unless necessary.
- Ensure the user is not subject to login hour restrictions.
- Ensure the user is not subject to IP restrictions that could prevent API access.
- Ensure the user account remains active and is not frozen or deactivated.
Reconnect to Salesforce
To reconnect to Salesforce:
- Navigate to WS Form > Settings > Salesforce.
- If the status shows Connected, click Disconnect.
- Click Connect and follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect.
- Re-select any Objects or Flows you are using.
- Click Save.

- Go to Submissions.
- Find and view the submission that did not push to Salesforce.
- Scroll down to the Actions section.
- Click the Run Again icon.
