This field will contain the TrustedForm certificate URL
  • TrustedForm Ping URL
This field will contain the TrustedForm ping URL
  • TrustedForm Token
This field will contain the TrustedForm token (Usually the same as the certificate URL)

WS Form - Trusted Form - Section

When the section is added, the TrustedForm field will be configured with Sandbox enabled for testing. You must uncheck the Sandbox setting when you are ready to generate certificates in a live environment.

Configuring TrustedForm

WS Form automatically enqueues the TrustedForm JavaScript for your form. TrustedForm will be bound to your form automatically such that it will only record consent for that form. You can add TrustedForm to as many forms as you wish.

To configure how TrustedForm is initialized for your form, click the field Settings icon on the TrustedForm field. The settings are as follows:

Certificate URL Field

Choose which field to use for storing the TrustedForm certificate URL. We recommend using a hidden field.

Ping URL Field

Choose which field to use for storing the TrustedForm ping URL. We recommend using a hidden field. This field is optional.

Token Field

Choose which field to use for storing the TrustedForm token. We recommend using a hidden field. This field is optional.

Sandbox

If checked, TrustForm certificates will be generated in sandbox mode. This is useful if you haven’t yet signed up for a paid account and want to test the functionality.

If you added TrustedForm to your WordPress form using the Section Library, note that the Sandbox setting will be enabled by default for testing. You must uncheck the Sandbox setting when you are ready to generate certificates in a live environment.

Invert Field Sensitivity

The Invert Field Sensitivity setting in the TrustedForm field provides greater control over how sensitive fields are handled during TrustedForm certification.

With this setting enabled, you can determine which fields are not sensitive as follows:

  1. Edit a field by clicking the Settings icon.
  2. Click on the Advanced tab.
  3. In the Custom Attributes setting add:
    1. Name: data-tf-sensitive
    2. Value: false

Identifier

This optional Identifier will be displayed in a section on TrustedForm Certificates called “Publisher Provided Data”. Any data present here is provided by the publisher of the lead generation form at the time of the certificate’s creation and only shown if it is provided. By comparing the unique identifier present across multiple certificates lead buyers can confirm whether or a not a publisher intended for them to be viewed together to represent a more complete picture of all the consumer’s activity.

Tip

We suggest turning off the Reset Form After Submit setting in Form Settings > Basic so that a new TrustedForm certificate is not issued after your form has been submitted.
